Kenya tops the 2015 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing – Medal Table

This year, Kenya has shown exemplary performance in just concludes IAAF (World Athletics Championships) in Beijing China.

Asbel Kiprop earned Kenya the much needed 7th gold to finish ahead of Jamaica. The tall legged  clocked 3 minutes 34.40 seconds, running the final lap in 51 seconds as his rivals battled and stumbled behind him to the line.

Kenya bagged a total of 16 medals (7 gold, 6 silver,3 bronze) while their closest rivals, Jamaica, finished second with 12 medals ( 7 gold,2 silver,3 bronze). The top 20 list was closed by Crotia with two medals only  2 bronze.
