Television talk show, JKL LIVE host Jeff Koinange and businessman Tony Gachoka have failed in an attempt to stop their arrests for disobeying a court order.
Justice Weldon Korir instead directed the two to serve the Attorney-General and the magistrate’s court with their application for inter-partes hearing on Wednesday.
Nairobi Senior Resident Magistrate Maisy Chesang last week issued a warrant of arrest against the two for failing to appear in court to answer charges of contempt.
They are accused of discussing businessman Jimi Wanjigi, Sani Mbui Wanjigi and Kwacha Group of Companies Limited during Mr Koinange’s “Jeff Koinange Live Show” despite a court order barring the discussion.
